Beginning in 2026, the Medicine Hat Firefighters Charitable Foundation is proud to offer a scholarship to a future firefighter!
Who?

Must reside within Medicine Hat, Redcliff or Cypress County

Accepted into an accredited fire service program. Or, have completed a program within 365 days.
Requirements?

3 professional references.
-
Current occupation.
-
Proof of enrollment.
-
Grades.
-
Statement of purpose.
-
Statement of financial need.

Extracurricular activities (please include any sports played).
How Much?
When?

For the 2026 year, we will be offereing 1 scholarship for a total of $2000.00.

Submissions and documents may be submitted between May 1 and June 30 2026

The chosen recipient will be announced on July 1st, 2026

If no applicants meet the criteria, the scholarship will not be awarded.
